Sonax Polymer Netshield Applicator

Yes, I think Bob misunderstood.

In my experience BSD and PNS have very similar characteristics. The BSD does not seem to affect the PNS at all.

I've always used this for PNS application. Love it! For some reason AG doesn't seem to list it...

Opti Pro Paint Applicator

I haven't used mine yet Setec, but I seem to recall a thread that did discuss cleaning. I'll see if I can find it and post a link for you.

No bc it doesn't dry and crystallize like some silica coatings. I've been cleaning my applicators with dawn after use and they work great. I use the optimum applicator that's black and grey with two different sides.

Thanks.

I think maybe Bob is holding sixsix to the very letter of the law as the captain of:

And as mentioned earlier, don't top it with anything except sonax brilliant shine detailer. The beading is insane with pns and won't work well with anything on top of it.

No matter how hard I try, I'm unable to misinterpret this quote.
For me, the second sentence didn't need to end with; "other than BSD".

Quite clear IMO.

I'd be interested in seeing what professional credentials you have, that you believe allows you to make such a statement.

Your above statement about "the second sentence" is not quite clear to me.
Would you be so kind to please explain? TIA.

Note:
I know: a little off-topic...But:

•Good to know that Sonax's Brilliant Shine Detailer (S-BSD) screws-up Sonax's Polymer NetShield characteristics.
-Thanks!

•Based on this information:
S-BSD is one product, that I'll be sure to contact the
manufacturer---for further insight---before its purchase.

Wow.. Maybe I should have rearranged my sentences. PNS and BSD play well together. PNS and anything else - not so much.

How do you guys clean this stuff out of the applicator when you're done?

I guess I gotta ask again--does this stuff trash the applicator, what do you have to do to clean it out after use?

Yes, but HOW DO YOU CLEAN THE APPLICATOR AFTER USE OF THIS PRODUCT? Since this is being touted as having coating-like qualities, does it trash the applicator causing it to be a throwaway, or can it be cleaned, and if so how so?

Lol...ppl were skipping right over you.

It does not trash applicators. I use CG Fast Pad cleaner (soak) and then an extra hand wash in All Free & Clear to make sure there is no residual. I place the applicator in a bucket of Fast Pad/Water immediately after use and let soak overnight before the All Free & Clear--I do this with all my applicator pads.

I still hesitate for the PNS due 2 reason:
I read somewhere PNS is very durable
But finger prints or bird dropping is hard to get off... Please enlighten me :)
I only found 1 distributor carry it in my country and he charge me 60usd for a can ( worth it???)
Thanks in advance :)

I haven't observed this in my use...in fact, I think it sheds contaminants better than anything I've used up to this point--except maybe DP Paint coating, which it's equal to.

Thanks, sounds like just standard operating procedure is fine. Not sure when/if I will try this stuff, I still have a sample of Reload I haven't gotten to.

Thanks for reply CDot :xyxthumbs:
Appreciate that as I will be restocking in 2 more days :)
So it does release dust/dirt better and easier to maintain (water spot)?
I have SPNS & Hydro2 in mind

I would think the sonax flat square applicator would be best for this. Found a few vids on youtube that show it being used. White and yellow square.

Also the methods of application i saw of the posters varied widely. The one i trust follows the manufacturers directions.
