A new customer of mine brought this one over to get a good once over. He purchased it new and the dealer must have buffed it out before delivery because it had a bit of holograms and it was swirled up a bit. Started out with a wash with CG honeydew and cleaned the wheel barrels while still on the car. I used griots garage wheel cleaner, then iron x, then some CG all clean to clean out the little drips in the barrel as they dried

And now the not so beauty shots of defects

Now in process masked off the plastics and rubber that might contact the polishing pads and I got to work.

Started with my Flex 3401 with orange hybrid pads and FG400

Looked really good after the FG400 but I still went with a white hybrid pad and SF4000 after and topped with a coat of Jet Seal and a coat of Souveran Paste.

Wiped and dressed the engine bay with Meguiars M40

And the load of after shots and sun shots

And then the inside. Did a light steam on the doors some small carpet stains and the seats. Dressed plastics and soft touch with CG silk shine and cleaned seats and conditioned with Chemical guys leather cleaner then leather conditioner.

That about does it for pics any questions on things I left out feel free to ask I am new to the Show and Shine posts and trying to do better.

Beautiful job and great documentation / pics. Well done Sir! :xyxthumbs:

You basically changed the color of the car, congrats, VERY WELL DONE! I guess it was easy to clean around the pedals, seeing there was only 2 of them (sorry Bob, you know me, LOL!)

I mean one of the last shots of the p/s 3/4 view is spectacular!!

Thanks everyone. And haha on the pedals. When he dropped it off I was disappointed to see that. I guess not everyone shares my love for a manual though.

Excellent work and just the right amount of pictures of this beauty too

My thing is I understand an auto will be faster these days because I can't shift as fast but there is something enjoyable about driving a manual that really does it for me. If I had a track only car it would be auto but not a car I daily drive on the street.

A "track only" car should really be a stick, why would want an auto here?

Drag strip I meant since I wouldn't even have an affordable option for a road course by me. And even then aren't the road course cars these days fairly computer controlled with no clutch pedal?

My 07CYA-7 six-speed, paddle shift equipped C6, has proven to be extremely capable under any and all "surface conditions". :props:

Bob

How about you let me borrow it for a bit so I can form an opinion on it myself?
