Pulled into a parking lot the other day to pick up some cleaner and saw this, I just had to take a picture. Now I'm not judging here as I don't care one bit if someone wants to double park, and I certainly understand pride in a vehicle, but doesn't it seem a little weird that this old 240 was double parked :D This car was destroyed inside and out, mismatched, dull scratched paint all the way around, and rust holes the size of your fist, just found it odd anyone else? I mean don't you normally double park to protect nice paint?

Yes...You are judging.
{Just like I got through doing.}

Is that "hard parked" or just hard TO park, LOL!

I bet he parked next to a nice car just to be a clown, that left before you pulled in? Sounds good right?

Didn't think of that, could be :xyxthumbs: Makes sense, I still think he might have been trying to be funny too, I got a kick out of it lol.

Rust holes, dull, scratched, interior trashed, but not one door ding :D

Maybe they are just really good at parking really bad :xyxthumbs:

I was actually thinking that, could be :D

On a serious note, I am in no way making of fun of the owner whomever that may be, I certainly have driven my share of beaters. What I think is funny and why I posted it was for this scenario rolling around in my head:

Crazy guy that likes to key cars that are nice and/or double parked sees it from a distance and thinks, "I'll teach them..." to which he proceeds sneakily across the parking lot with key in hand ready to inflict a damaging blow that will forever burn in the mind of the "car snob" owner and how he shouldn't have double parked. Then he rolls right up on the car and is like, ###, nevermind LOL.

Anyway that is why I was chuckling as I took the photos, I was thinking of that scenario.

I just noticed the tinted windows,I wouldn't want to be seen driving that either! Or maybe just maybe that ride is all "fast and furious " up ? Like the farm truck on that discovery channel show about the OKC street racers? Who knows ,vacation coming to an end and I'm getting a little goofy. Already thinking about Thanksgiving & Christmas my next 2 vacations.

It might be a old beat up ride though that owner see, and feel something we all wont be able to tell.....its just the connection you sometime have with that special ride

Or maybe a kid and his first car,we were all there once, just happy to drive something and be free

:hungry:

Definitely could be that, I still fondly remember some of my beaters lol.

I agree, u are judging. Just because its not in good shape you think he/she is nuts for parking like that.

Maybe they are poor and still love whatever they can afford. Maybe its a kid and that's all they can have. Sad u tease someone cause their good isn't your "good"

By no means am I judging; But:

Isn't this scenario...(that was: "rolling around in your head")...just further manifestation of your judging people?

A couple examples:
-Whoever owns this car: Owns a beater
-Crazy people key cars, and act sneakily
-Snobs own: Double-parked cars
-etc.

You left out:
-Owning a beater means ______________________ .
(Since you have driven your share of beaters, you'll know first-hand how to fill in the above blank.)

My guess is the driver was prolly cockeyed drunk and couldn't part straight.

Wow relax, I just found it amusing, geez, stop taking it so serious...I forgot we live in a crazy PC world, and to be honest, most people that park that way no matter what it is are a target for a lot of ribbing, I just simply made an observation. Did you even read my post #11:

On a serious note, I am in no way making of fun of the owner whomever that may be...

Honestly if someone is an Admin you can just delete this whole thing, I removed the photos because of this kind of thing. It was just an interesting observation that some people are going to take way to seriously like this guy saying I'm making fun of someone which was not my intent at all, it was a humorous car related observation I thought i'd share is all, sorry I did.
