CanTide detergent clean wax off a MF applicator?

Just use dawn or some other type of dish soap and massage it in. The wax will come right out.

If you're having issues: a soak in some APC or Dawn, followed by a wash in laundry detergent (with your MF towels, the foam does nothing to them) will get that stuff out.

I would hesitate to wash a wax applicator with my microfibers

They cost about $.10 each, if you buy them correctly. I use two or more per application and then throw them away

This.

I bought a 20 pack on eBay for $1.99.....

I uses apc or either dish soap with a small brush(like in the link) with the massaging method to remove the wax residue and deep clean at 5he same time though you could use tide as long as its tide clear

I believe the OP is referencing MF applicators, not foam applicators.

Good catch

Sorry OP

I do not like MF applicators for wax or sealant application

They soak up too much product and are too expensive

I do not see any advantage to MF over Foam, but I am interested to learn if there are advantages

I soak my pads for wax in diluted tide, APC doesn't work nearly as well.
