Special Project - Experienced Detailers Needed

On Thursday, September 25th, we have a very special Thursday night project and we really need about 10 to 15 experienced detailers to attend.

We're looking for people that are experienced with machine polishing, all types of machine polishing including,

  • Porter Cable - Griot's Garage - Meguiar's G110v2 - Simple dual action polishers.
  • Flex 3401 Forced Rotation Dual Action Polishers
  • Rupes Bigfoot Orbital Polishers
  • Cyclo Orbital Polishers
  • Rotary Buffers
If you're one of the guys that regularly attend my Thursday night projects then you're welcome to sign-up for this special project.

If you're a full or part time detailer in driving range to Stuart, Florida and you want to be part of this project then you're welcome to sign-up for this project.

I have not confirmed the project car yet but you know I always have something cool to work on.

Top Secret
I'm sorry but I cannot share any of the details for this project. If you want to know what it is then you'll need to be here in person and you'll have to sign a non-disclosure form.

Sure does look like a BMW Z4...... Louisiana is within driving distance as well. Actually Setec is picking me up! ROFL!

Wow! What an incredible opportunity for anyone within driving range! Even more is that it is being opened up to the forum for people to join in.

Cant wait to see this one. Now the sleepless nights begin wondering about this new Top Secret project.

Also.....

If you're reading this and you have a detail shop or are a mobile detailer and you are within approximately 1 hour of driving distance from Stuart, I would like you to contact me to be a part of a special project.

You can call me at the number below, because I'm going to be in the garage a lot this month if I don't answer leave a voice mail and your phone number. Please leave your phone number slowly so I don't have to work at it to write it down to call you back.

Thanks, this is a unique opportunity I hope you'll take it.

:)

That is a Z4 for sure.

Wanna swing by and grab me from Germany!?

At first I thought the new mustang but the lines did not work. I am convinced of the Z4 and since I am supported by the BMW guru.....

Actually Mike, how about if I pick you up the night before. you can sleep at the house and then Setec can pick us up on our way there.

I have driven that Z4. What a beautiful roadster!

Sounds great to me! Would love to meet you and Setec in person!

Sure, as long as you pick up the tunnel toll...where is the entrance to that one? The one that goes under the Atlantic Ocean?

Hahahaha. I honestly haven't the slightest idea where its at.

If so:
Perhaps this particular Thursday Night Extreme Makeover is being reserved for the testing of one of AGO's/PBMG's "house brands" new product formulations for BMW's Frozen Paint schemes (matte).

Bob

Oh good guess! Whatever it is, I'm excited to see and hear about this "Top Secret" project!

Mike, I'm also pretty tempted to fly down for this. Will it be worth the trip? :-p

Good guesses guys but not going to let the cat out of the bag....

Also, while I haven't confirmed the car yet I might see if the owner of this 1954 Hudson as the custom paint job is over 10 years old and it's in dire need of de-swirling....

1945 Hudson Hornet Convertible
This is an incredibly rare car and the cousin to Wayne Carini's hardtop version. This belongs to Bill and you're going to see this Hudson back for a show car makeover as the paint feels rough and has swirls that have built up over the last 10 years since it was painted.

I need something big though... with lots of swirls...
