Looking at getting some promo items made up.

Just wondering if there is anything particular that has ever worked well for guys? Pens, hats, can koozies, tshirts., etc.

One thing I'm maybe looking at is these guys for custom car fresheners.
Personalized & Branded Air Fresheners for Your Business, Organization or Event! | Custom Fresheners

I know the true pro's on here cringe when they see that(myself included) but I know a lot of ppl go nuts for that stuff. Just a thought.

Lets hear it guys...

Thanks!!!

What is your objective?

How are you planning to use these item?

What is your budget?

I've only done t-shirts. I'm not really a fan of anything really. The only thing I've thought of is a recycled bag with my logo on it. So you can put all the stuff in it from the car when doing interiors.

I forget who this was, but a forum member mentioned giving a small sample of detailing product(s) to clients. Perhaps you could buy small plastic bottles from the dollar store, fill it with some great smelling product like OptimumNRWW, and print your logo, slap it on the bottle and give it to a potential client. This could even open the door to talk to complete strangers, who are driving expensive cars of course, the opportunity to start a conversation/sales pitch.

If you want to do something inexpensive, that will keep your contact information handy, you can get some business card or car shaped refrigerator magnets. You could also get some Do Not Wash Car signs printed with your contact info that hang on the mirror, so that your customers can use it when taking their car in for service.

I haven't heard of the mirror hanger before. Great idea!

I'm lookin at t-shirts, but more just for myself than to give away to customers. I doubt a customer would want -or wear- a t-shirt with their detailers info on it, but hey maybe...

There are lots of companies that will take your artwork and do small runs of T-Shirts for $12-15 per shirt

Yeah, that's the plan:) just a matter of finding the time during busy summer detailing season. Good problem to have though!

"Avery" even has "do it at home" magnetic business cards. During the winter time, you could make some up for little $.

Just an idea...

promotion as in you want more people to be aware of what you do as a business?

Yeah, this won't work effectively

Think of ways without spending money
