Top 5 Favourite LSP's

From the first 20 posts, it looks like Collinite is a major favorite (I like the Insulator wax too, very easy to use).

Agree. I keep getting tempted to try 915, but then I remember I still have a very full bottle of 845 and a half bottle of SG that never seem to go down no matter home many times their used.

I was a huge 845 fan, still am as it puts many other lsp's to shame with its bright look and 3-4 months durability, but curiosity got the better of me and I bought and used 915, and that was that for me, its on a different level entirely, whatever you like about 845 plus 30%. It really is that good, most products are 90% marketing hype and 10% delivery, 915 is 10% hype and 90% delivery, the only regret you will have is not using it sooner!

Agree with all of this but the 10% hype, your being generous, LOL!

:laughing: Nice one!! N/A is fine for the rest!! Souveran is in my top 5 and I have about 20 - 25 different waxes from all over....Great choice. Your thread made me laugh!!

1: FourStar UPP (Unmatched gloss)
2: BFWD AFPP (Glossy & ridiculously easy to remove)
3: BF BlackIce (Warm glow & depth, Easy removal when over applied)
4: Collinite 915 (Warm glow & depth)
5: Souveran (Glossy and easy to remove)

I really need to get my hands on 4star upp, hows the durability?

4-6 months is quoted I believe. I have it on my car's roof for past 2 weeks and is the slickest thing I've used (similar slickness to BF, may be slightly more but definitely gathers less dust the BFWD). You should check corey's review on 4*UPP (google with full product name and it should be in the top links) which is very detailed long term review and that gave me the confidence to buy it blindly ahead of WG/BF.
The same people that like it also rave about its liquid spray for post wash top ups.

Now just to find a way to get the products to me, shipping and other costs are crazy.

1. Duragloss 111 - Ease of use, and durability.
2. Zymol Carbon - Luscious, wet glow, excellent beading, and decent longevity.
3. Surf City Garage Nano Seal - Seems to be holding up well, looks great, and smells great.
4. Meguiar's #26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax - Gorgeous, rich look, great smell, and it was my first pro wax.
5. Turtle Wax Ice Paste - Very strong, great beading.

Also curious about Megs#26 but hear it only lasts 3 weeks

I've never used anything but Megs: Gold Class, Mirror Glaze 16 and 26, and nowadays Ultimate Liquid. Well, waaay back when I was young I used to use Rain Dance because Consumer Reports said it was good. LOL.

I bought some CQUK a couple of months back, but I haven't gotten around to coating my vehicle.

Hey, I just came up with 5 most top 5:

(In no specific order)

1. BFWD

2. Zymol Glasur

3. PowerLock

4. WG Deep Gloss Liquid Seal

5. Vic's Red.

Really? I always got a few months out of it.. I'm not around super extreme weather though. It's a carnauba/polymer blend. I imagine it benefits durability wise from those synthetics built in to it.

It truly is on another level compared to those listed. I have, like, and still use BFWD and WGDGPS but 4* is my go to. The slickness is unreal and durability is unmatched.

You forgot to mention the best part: the gloss it provides. It's second to none.

1. Polish Angel Jubilee Wax: My favorite wax. The depth and wet look is incredible.
2. Dodo Juice Supernatural Wax
3. Pinnacle Souveran Wax
4. Chemical Guys Celeste Detaglio Wax
5. Vic's Red Wax

These are my top 5 in order. I love carnauba waxes. I am not a fan of Hybrid waxes or wax/cleaners. IMO with the right carnauba wax on your ride; YOU CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE in terms of gloss, depth, warmth and the wet look. All 5 of these waxes have all the qualities I mentioned.

Many people on this site think a wax is a wax and no biggie, however, that is completely FALSE from 1st hand experience. If some people think I am on crack then so be it. Those that want to bash...bash away.

I newer, so that's why I'm asking this question: Why are you not a fan of hybrid waxes?

Nothing wrong with that! I really like carnauba waxes too. I've always preferred the Zymol offerings. I have Concours, Titanium, and Glasur in the "collection", but I mostly use Creame and Carbon.

Surf City Garage's Barrier Reef Paste should have been on my list too.
