What do you pros recommend to use for paint chip repairs? I sometimes use those corny Dupli-Color paint pen things from the big parts stores but I've only ever had minimal luck. Just wondering what you guys are using.

Thanks guys!!

Find a legit paint store that can use the vehicles paint code to mix you the right color paint... pens tend to suck and dealership-provided touch-up is usually old and cheap.

Also it's a good idea to have the paint store employee come out and see the car if its older, so they can lighten/tint the paint if necessary (like on older cars for example).

The paint store will usually mix in some "clear" as well, so that is an added convenience (request/ask just to be sure. Makes it easy to wet-sand back to a factory finish look if you're patient/careful.

DR Colorchip is the way to go. Just provide them with your paint code and they send you the kit
