Cleaning inside glass

Paper towels will almost always streak. That's your problem right there.

I can't recall the name of the chemical offhand, but paper towels have a chemical in them that streaks when you use them on glass. I think it's a remnant from the manufacturing process.

Meguiar's Glass Cleaner and a waffle weave microfiber work GREAT.

+1. WW's or the flat weave towels are some of the best for glass.

+1000

Use 2 waffle weave glass towels and Meg's glass cleaner. One towel to clean and the other to do a final dry/wipe.

I have used several really good glass cleaners and I have to say Meg's has been the best so far. Not to mention it is hands down the best smelling glass cleaner and a hell of a value in the gallon size.

My best and easiest way is to spray some Stoners Invisible Glass on a MF and then use one of those triangular foam covered cleaning handles to reach all the hard to get to corners.
Then I polish the glass with a clean MF
Generally takes two applications to get all the sticky crud haze off all the windshield.
And once every six month is all i need too.

On the inside of my 2011 Mazda Speed 3...I never touch the glass. If my gf or little sister does I first smack them in the hand lol, but i use a clean microfiber cloth on the insides and just wipe it away. I don't use cleaners, I swear it comes right off w no streaking and no smears or anything. The outside of the glass I spray it off and wash it first then as it is almost dry I hit it w a very quick pass of liquid glass. Then use a news paper to wipe it clean. The trick on the outside is to NO coat it with whatever solution u r using. I do 1 pass only which is just enough. Maybe I'm OCD...but who knows lol

I literally have all the possible glass towels on the market (if not all, very close) and have always been frustrated because of lint, streaks etc... After much researching and much experimentation, and much discussion with pros alike I finally found a combination that has not disappointed.

Mike P always advocates 2 towels.... and that is 100% right! For dirty glass I use 2 regular multipurpose micros with DP Krystal Vision. This is combo is a killer for dirty windows but always seem to leave smudges and streaks, even when I tried using glass towels etc.. Once the glass is cleaned of the plastic fog, or smoke residue etc... (or on clean"ish" glass for maintenance) I follow that with CarPro's Fast Glass with WATER ONLY, and do my final wipedown with a Microfiber Madness Crazy Pile. This is the best combo EVER!!!!

So "cleaner" product for dirty glass followed by Fast Glass + MFM OR just Fast Glass with water and MFM for maintenance. Easy as pie and won't be chasing smudges and streaks for days.

NOTE: For any product and MF combo, what I found is do not let the product dry on the glass (cleaner or water). Then you end up cursing the process or towels

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions I'm going to try the towel method it's been raining most of the morning here.

Thanks for all the help the two towel method works great hadn't really thought about using microfiber towels before.

I swear it's easy as can be I just tried using my shark brand hand held steamer on the inside of my glass as well (no chemicals so no risk of hazing) I even went to OCD to use distilled water. Windows came out crystal clear.

This if you have a steamer. I do the same using the squeegee attachment on a shark steamer, followed by a quick wipe down with a clean microfiber towel.......perfect windows every time.

I've also used the waffle weave glass towels combined with stoners invisible glass, the towels work very well!
