No, and I'm not worrying about it....

1. They only use FB to plan their events and I'm not on FB.
2. I heard they are an "odd" bunch who go down every year.

I refuse to get on FB. So if you only use it to plan things I'm automatically out, and the last thing I need are more weirdos. I ran into plenty of them over the years thru the MINI club LOL

I also need to really keep Sept thru mid Nov open next year for training as I am planning to run my first marathon in November.
 
Well I too am not on FB and have no desire to be either. Our run is going to be the 1st or 2nd weekend of October.

The term "weirdo" is pretty broad, some people would say we're weirdos for the amount of time we invest into our cars, LOL. Our current group has no clowns and I hope to keep it that way.

Unfortunately that timeframe I can't do... Always have a press check and deadline for work, so I'm not allowed time off then. Plus I'll be in NY the second weekend.

Lol when I say weirdos, I mean I heard they are very "close knit" and don't like others coming into their little click. Whatever. I'd rather go (when I can) with you and your crew Roger. I know you will have a good group of drivers. I find a diverse group of cars is more interesting than a bunch of the same cars with everyone comparing :dblthumb2:
 
I agree Monica and we've only had a couple girls go with us and actually drive, so it's always a welcomed site for sure, especially a vet like you.

I agree about the diversity of the cars for sure and the same mark can automatically make for a clique. We had that happen when I had the CR-Z. The other 4 CRZ owners didn't mix with the rest of us, oh well. Their run has gotten HUGE though and good for them.

Lol by the time I go again I will need a huge refresher!
It will be interesting driving the Coupe on the Dragon vs the Mini for sure... Whole different game.
 
When is the last time you went down there Monica? Did you run the Skyway and Moonshiners too?

I think it's been 3 years now.

I ran Skyway but not Moonshiners.

Apparently the bolts from the diff to cross,ember may not have been put in correctly and may come loose releasing the driveshaft.

Hey Roger! Thanks for thinking of me.

Ok,
1. The Escape has the same 4WD system as the Nissan GTR.

2. I have no idea where Hahtisburg is. I'm in West Chester if that helps.

I don't have anywhere to be Saturday, so most likely it will be me, the husband and the pets watching the storm and doing snow removal.

Funny you write, the Coupe is back from the recall today... Just in time to stay cocooned in the garage.
 
Glad it's back and all is good!

I ask about that city because when they showed Penn on the weather here today it was predicted 32" of snow. I'm going to look that city up.

So the Coupe went in for the recall yesterday. The dealer said it didn't need it but they replaced the bolts anyway. I think they are required to just do it on all of them.
Went out to dinner last night in it. Now it's back in the garage till spring :dblthumb2:
