Nice ride, even living in Metro Detroit, I have only seen maybe a handful of these on the road (I see practically 100 Ford Fusions EVERY day here). How's the ride quality, seems most of the reviews I read say it's very harsh! I used to own 2010 Mazdaspeed3, loved that car!

I doubt you will see many on the road even there.

Harsh? Um, not if you like a well-handling sports car. I find it feels fantastic.

Not too mention that would thrash a Mazda 3. It's a whole different type of animal, it's in a class of it's own with the WRX and Golf R.

Not sure what the one I drove dyno'd at. I detailed it and I know it was tuned as I drove it with the owner.

I had my MazdaSpeed3 tuned and it would put down 270-315hp / 290-335tq depending on the tune I flashed on it. 1st and most of second gear were useless. :)
 
So Monica, are both wheels the same style? Any pics of the other wheels?

When I saw those silver wheels I thought they were Fusion wheels, from the AWD model, seems like that work.

As far as tunes go, well, there's the Cobb but Moutune (spelling) is a factory backed deal. Seems that both tunes put the car to 375 and about 420 ft/lbs.

Like I said, it was in the reviews but not my opinion. I am running lower springs, Koni yellows and 50 series tires on my Mazda 6 so I like a stiff ride!

I wasn't comparing the RS and Mazdaspeed3 head to head, I get the RS is a different beast but they are both hot hatches! I would say STI before I would say WRX when comparing to a Golf R or Focus RS.

Nice numbers! I never did get mine tuned, just a few playful add ons!

I know Ford brought it to the US to compete with both the Golf R and Subaru STI.

My friend has a MazdaSpeed3... untuned even it's a great car :xyxthumbs:
