No, that was taken, and taken in a variety of ways.... I'm doing RS plus the build number.
I'll take pics when I put the plaque in the car :xyxthumbs:
 
Inlays finally arrived.
Tomorrow it's supposed to be really nice (70) and cloudy. I'm going to clean up the RS and apply them.
Pictures will follow.....

The RS blue was a color option, but you know me... I like to murder everything out :laughing:

Next step- getting the summer wheel/tire set-up on. I'm hoping to do that in the next week or 2 at latest.

BTW Roger- used some of your Frankendetailer on the Escape after washing it... stuff works good!
 
I forgot what its based off of, what color is it?

If you like to murder stuff out, are you going to cover up the OEM RS badges to match what you just did?
 
The stuff you gave me is blue.

I don't think so... though I saw someone who change theirs to white to match their paint color. It looked great.
 
Great work, this is awesome. I wish more people customized vehicles the way you did instead of the coffee can exhausts and overly lowering of Honda Civics I saw in my old neighborhood.

They do, just have to know where to go, i.e. cars and coffee and Sunday C&C's because early shows keep the Dbags away.

Thx- I don't think I will customize this car as much as others in the past. I bought it because it's pretty awesome (IMO) out of the box. But I will always add my "Monica" touches to my rides :)

But I have some other little things to do in the meantime... AND I still have to do my spring detail in the next month or 2 :dblthumb2:
 
See in Toronto, cars and coffee aren't really a common thing, at least not with well done cars. It's mostly just a bunch of people with lowered civics or old Honda accords made to look like preludes. I can't really say that cars and coffee and cars are a real big thing here, not the way they have a lot of the ones in the US where you get to see a lot of nicely done up cars.

That's a shame... you get to see a lot of cool stuff at C&C here. And the range is from kids with their beat up Civics to dudes showing up in Ford GTs, Ferraris, etc.
 
Anytime you get car guys together it's all types of cars. Sure there's kids with stuff like that but you also have mid-life crisis guy with his Corvette with hammered paint and has NO clue, so I'd say it's a wash there.

Man I haven't been on here in a few months, and it is always interesting to see what your upto now. The RS is a pretty sweet ride! Congrats! I am totally toy less right now as I sold my Saleen and BMW last fall to buy a new house :(

I will likely end up with either an M3, 03-04 Cobra or another Saleen. Not sure what I am going to get yet and not really in a hurry to get something either.
