So my buddy Hectour and I were talking cars on the phone like we do every night and the Focus RS came up. He commented on how many of them are poping up on used car lots already. So my question Monica is this, have you seen this by you? Has this come up on the forums?

I brought up the fact that it doesn't have a bitter rival like the EVO and STI battles of the past. I also brought up mpg's and yeah, you don't buy a car like that as a fuel sipper but we were just trying to figure this out and put it into perspective.

All this said, my buddy and I love the car and wished we could afford one but any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks👍

I honestly never see any by me... on lots or on the road. I'm ok with that.

Not sure why people are dumping them already... maybe the novelty wore off or maybe they decided it wasn't as good a car as they thought?

It definitely doesn't get great gas mileage but I never buy a car with that in mind. They only fun car I ever had that got decent mileage was the Mini.

I personally still love driving the car. For me it replaced 2 cars so I actually saved money buying it ;)

I swear I think I'm lucky if I get 19. I feel like I get 15 around town.

I'm getting 16 smiles per gallon in my SS in city driving. I didn't buy it for fuel economy. I bought it because I love to drive it the way a sports sedan is meant to be driven. Otherwise I'd do like my older brother and hypermile a 2016 Corolla...boring!
 
The power those little things have is awesome. People who don't know about cars can get a rude awakening at the hands of the RS.


I still love "baiting" those little winged ricer cars with all 99 hp they have, then laughing at the looks on their faces as I smoke the hell out of them with a full-sized truck. :laughing::laughing::laughing:
 
Went to a Cars and Coffee @ Lingenfelter Engineering, saw 10 Focus RS there. Most I've ever seen in a given day, Lingenfelter even has one they must be working on.
