New from the greatest city in the world

Hello everyone,

I'm from Cleveland, aka the greatest city in the world.

I've just acquired a 2010 MB E350 4Matic in Palladium Silver, and my lovely wife has elected to get a 2014 VW Tiguan in Metallic Black.

We're used to apartment living with our last vehicles so dings/dents/scrapes happened all too often, We've been in our house for a few years now and with new vehicles its time to keep them nice and clean.

AGO has taught me so much already and after a recent amazon order showed up actually from AGO, I figured I'd join and give it a shot.

My goal is to avoid buying a DA for as long as possible, because even though I've heard they are almost idiot proof something still scares me about 10A of machine near a car.

I was with you right up until the Cleveland part. curious....why the best city? tell me its not just because of Lebron and Johnny Benchrider.

I live in Cleveland Heights, and can help you get rid of that irrational fear of da machines. I own a Porter Cable, Rupes 21 & 15, and a Flex 3401. You're welcome to a test drive if you want to see what they are all about.

Besides the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame...
I'd understand your affinity towards Cleveland...if the Browns hadn't moved to Baltimore; and Queen Jamie would go dinky-dunk elsewhere.

I've been to both London and Paris---Kentucky, that is. :D

Welcome aboard! And don't be skeered - DA's are safe, just don't drop them on the paint - that's about the only way you'll damage it!

Best City, Reasonable cost of living, no natural disasters, low population density, good school districts due to good Teacher/Student ratio, I'm here,

I've been to Hamburg, its okay.. just too European for me, but anyone in a foreign country who speaks English as well as you do, has my respect. Your English is way better than my German.

I'm originally from the Eastside, Mayfield Hts to be precise. Maybe someday I'll take you up on that offer, once the black car starts showing the swirls.

Hey FUNX, I used you as the referrer for me to join as your posts have generally been the most helpful (for a non AGO employee).

Cleveland is on the up and up, plus I'm old @ 28, and if I lived in CHI or NYC I'd be tired and crabby all the time, plus I wouldn't have a need for a car.
