I didn't see any marring left behind. I just polished it like I normally would. I guess the paint isn't that soft to leave any marring. I used the pad conditioning brush to clean my pads often.

Awesome work! I'm doing a white M6 in a couple weeks, thinking I'll take a similar approach.
 
Very nice work Marc! Great job capturing those defects/improvements on white paint. The afters look fantastic. Just realized how old this thread is :D
