Best towels for rinseless wash

I use a 600gsm towel from here.

Might vary from RW to RW. But ONR doesn't need buffing. I just mist my towel or the panel with a QD, one wipe with my Dry Me Crazy MF and your done!
 
Not 100% sure they are te Buff & Shine because I didn't get them here. But I have ones that look exactly like those. I really like them for waterless. I use the blue side to wipe then flip to the gray to buff.

Personally I think the big, thick, extra fluffy, towels are overkill for a rinseless wash. (ie: Shine & Buff Waterless Wash Towel / Blue/Gray) I love them for a waterless wash but they get to heavy IMO for rinseless.

For rinseless I use a 16x16 300 - 400 GSM towel similar to the MFtech Elite Zero Edge -or- Edgeless Terry.

I would much rather have a light towel that I feel like I have more control over; and use more of them than to use a heavy towel.

I agree 100% Troy. I tend to use a lighter towel when I do rinseless washes. The heavy ones just get to heavy and difficult to manage.

I pretty much use the Garry Dean method and use 300 gram towels. I prob go through about 7-10 on my truck depending on how dirty.

I totally agree Troy!

I really don't do ANY waterless, and not much rinseless. Although I really love Megs 114, and DG Rinseless even better than ONR. But for those I use 365 GSM dual pile black towels (on the bumpers and from the side molding down at least). ;)

The Elite Ultra Fine I have is the heaviest I would want. I end up ringing them out a little more than normal because they're so heavy when soaked. They are great for waterless though :)

Totally agree as well. I have the Supreme 530 towels, which I used to try out the GDWM and even that gets too heavy and unwieldy. The plan of folding the towel in attempts to use 8 clean sides falls apart rather quickly!! Which is why I use the slimmer (but still plush) Gold Plus Jrs, which I think is the perfect weight and usability for rinseless with MF (for me, that is).

I read somewhere in another thread, they're now packaged as a 2-per. Maybe that's why I haven't seen them. Mind you, I wasn't looking too hard because I wasn't planning to get any - I still have some new ones.
 
Yes, just tried them the other day. Bought some when they were BOGO. Wish i had bought more!

There are 2 ProLine sponges on Lowes website...so I assume they still sell everywhere. Looks like the one they had was replaced with 2 diff ones; an "easy grip" one and an "all purpose" one.

Those are not the right ones, I haven't used those so I can't vouch for them. The correct sponge is called ProLine Tile & Grout Sponge.
 
I'm really against using sponges for rinseless wash. Microfiber covered foam wash mitts are a much better choice. With the microfiber fingers there is somewhere for the dirt to go while you are doing the washing, with the sponge not so much.

Just my .02, but I do have close to or over 1,000 rinseless washes under my belt.

i've used a grout sponge for years (rinseless and traditional wash)and haven't had any problems using them. here's a good demonstration of someone using a grout sponge with ONR...
