Hello friends :xyxthumbs:

I got a pm from someone living in the North of our small island to clean up his ride’s glass. After meeting him to see his car, he was here next morning, with his beauty.

the tools and products:
Wash: Local car wash shampoo, MF wash mitt, MF towels
Decontamination: Bilt Hamber Clay (Regular)

:buffing:

Makita rotary, Car Pro glass polishing pads, DP Glass Restorer, Sonax Glass Polish, DP Polymer Sealant

Car was washed, glass decontaminated.
For water spots, I tried the least aggressive method. DP Glass restorer on a polishing cloth. It wouldn’t budge. This was a severe water spots problem.
Then I tried DP Glass restorer on the Car Pro pads. It needed too much effort, and took a long time.
Moving a level up the aggressiveness scale, I tried the Sonax Glass polish with the pads. It took about 4-5 hours to completely get rid of all the water spots and leave a crystal clear view thru’ the glass. Glass was sealed with DP polymer sealant.

Excellent work restoring that badly etched glass it looks as if you replaced the glass with new...keep up all the great work

Nice work

Do you see al lot of this type of difficult, type II water spots where you are?

You might try a chemical based fix like CarPro Spotless. It could save a lot I time vs. polishing them off. Doesn't work everytime, but well worth trying on a Test Spot

Wow, amazing job on that glass! I cant imagine spending 4 hours on glass alone. Sheesh.

Hahahahha, sorry, I must write this laugh since this was the feeling I had while browsing through your thread!,

Amazing, simply! The way you showed everything with that quality pictures, and that kind of results, 'Remember?!' ahaha,

Awesome, and congratulations for this great work.

Kind Regards.

Thanks Allen

Will give the CarPro spotless a try for sure because we have a lot of water spots here, we are just a small tropical island here.

Thanks for sharing. :dblthumb2:
