NEW! Meguiar’s Foam Buffing Discs

My question about these pads is regarding the adhesive of the Velcro to the foam. I'm wondering if the glue holds up well, like it does with Rupes and BnS pads.

I have not had a single delamination that I can recal and we use a lot of these pads for our classes, both automotive and marine detailing classes.

tried the burgundy cutting foam disc couple of days ago. the pad was rotating with very high speed, no matter how much pressure i was putting on the machine.

is it normal?

Assuming you're talking about some type of dual action polisher like the Porter Cable or one of the many knock-off of the PC then "yes" at the high speed setting you'll get great pad rotation because there's less mass (thickness), and less surface area (pad diameter).

Years ago I coined a term for this, it goes like this....

Thin is in

I also cover this physical aspect in my how-to book.

So the 6" pad measures 6.25" and the 5" pad measures 5.5" ?

Can someone confirm these measurements.
