New Meguiar's D.A Polisher being announced on Sema?

I don't have a DA yet, this one looks pretty good. I wonder if it'll be priced similarly to the current model? And to cleanmycorolla, what if this CG Torq you're talking about? I Googled and all I was finding was a foam cannon.

I tested out the new polisher and while is an upgrade from the G110v2 it still lacks in power and correction. This will still be a great machine for anyone new to polishing or a weekend warrior. The new pad will have a positive addition to the machine as it will aid in less foam needed to be turning.

If you plan on having a business or want something with more corrextion power then the Flex 3401 or Rupes will be the way to go.

thanks for the feedback with your first hand experience (i had a gut feeling by the brief video
that this would be the case :(), you most likely saved me $200. however, i am
looking forward to purchasing the new 5" DA foam pads when they are available...

I love the new pads and this is the approach they should have taken about 2 years after the release of the 2.0 pads. There was just too much pad there to spin. I was very impressed with the pads

Thank you so much for the first hand review, exactly the kind of stuff that makes this forum so great. It does look like it will be a truly great weekend warrior/enthusiast/starter type machine, but I was hoping it might be even more. Maybe I get one when of my regular DA's finally kicks the bucket as a simple replacement, but the 3401 sounds like it could be the better option when I want to add to my collection.

Good to hear on the pads, they sound quite impressive! I can't wait to try them out.

Chris I noticed that myself.

it could be made by the same manufacturer ( just speculation here )

I am of the same mindset friend, nothing bad in that, but curious how they call all be different.

True to Meguiar's they are building a good machine for everyone to jump in. A good thing but I will wait till my XP or Griot gives up on me.
