Hi, I'm Matt.

I'm from Northern California and farm row crop for a living. I honestly don't know much about detailing except what I've figured out myself. Don't know anything about waxes or tools to help preserve vehicles so I came here to learn. I have 2 vehicles and they're both dark colors and live on a gravel road, so it's a challenge to keep them nice. My everyday vehicle is my F250. It sees heavy abuse and is on dirt and gravel more than pavement. This vehicle isn't much of a concern but I still want it nice so is gets cleaned about once a week.

My second vehicle is why I came here. It's a 87 Buick Grand National and it shows every single flaw or speck of dust. The paint is currently in good condition and I'd like to kept it that way and even improve it some.

I also have a boat but that has been relatively easy to maintain seeing as its always covered and wiped after every use

Welcome to AGO. Twenty-seven years later the Buick GN is still an excellent vehicle.

Welcome to autogeek, some great canvases you will be working on...happy detailing

I would love a GN!
I almost bought a regal to throw in a v6 and turbo to cure the itch

:welcome: Nice Grand National :xyxthumbs::xyxthumbs:

Welcome! That GNX is a beast!!

That's a regular GN, not a GNX;)

Welcome aboard and you'll find all the info to keep that truck in good shape, I'd suggest Collinite #476 for the truck and Collinite #915 on the GN. These LSP's (Last Step Products) will fit your needs but prep work is key,especially on the GN!
