Initial Impression: Menzerna 3n1 All in One

I'm curious about the same thing. The finish looks great but can still see the sanding marks as mentioned. Could more passes or slower arm speed fixed this issue? Thanks for the great write ups and taking the time to post them.

My response to that question above in post 18.

Thank you sir. Glad you enjoyed it. More to come.

Thanks for the reviews. Do you know what is the durability supposed to be like?

Thank you!

I do not know what the durability is supposed to be.

Good deal Mike, Thanks for the explanation. Makes sense. The marks I was seeing are right around the light in the picture, not in the corner though. I think I am just seeing things though.

Any ideas about the durability of the sealant?

Sorry for bumping the thread but I too would like to know if there's anything out there on the durability of this stuff.

Good stuff by the way Mike, I really appreciate these little product testing posts.

Still haven't seen the Menzerna AIO for sale in the US. Is it safe to assume that the Wolfgang Uber All In One is a tweaked version of the Menzerna 3n1 All in One?

Great review Mike!!! I like your step by step photos and extreme attention to detail. I could not believe that this AIO is pulling out sanding marks.

Thanks for doing this and sharing it with the community.

My understanding is the 3in1 uses a wax and not a sealant for its protective abilities.

On the DW forum people say that topping with PowerLock is not recommended. Must be due to the wax in the AIO. I guess the ColorLock is what is recommended if using a Menz product.

Considering that the solvents in AIOs, waxes and sealants are generally similar, I don't see why it would be a "complete fail."

I have a bottle coming and would probably top it with Optimum Car Wax.

Sure thing.

I have one stepped my wife's car with 3n1, White Hybrid, PE14. Then went over the car again with PP Ultra, Black Hybrid, 3401 to ensure no holograms were left in the paint.

Only a month has passed but it is holding up rather well even through countless snow showers and salted roads.

Hopefully it makes it stateside. I really want to see it on the AG store.

I have no idea there. Based on the pictures I have seen, Uber is a bluish greenish color while 3n1 is white.

Thanks Marc! It is claimed to pull out 3K grit marks and I wanted to put it to the test. Did pretty well I must say.

No problem!

Maybe.

Hmmm. I topped with PP Ultra and have not noticed any issues. Im sure PP Ultra is a Sealant.

Let us know your findings Michael.

very informative...

Thank you sir!

Do we know when 3in1 would be available on AG? A competitor site has mentioned 14 jan as arrival date to theirs site. I am guessing for AG it should be the same date.

AG will have it on their site the day it becomes available. Perhaps as early as the night before.

I have confirmed this with Nick. :xyxthumbs:

Thanks for the update Mike. Sounds exciting. Would be great to see how 3in1 works with GG6 type DA..

How is the durability of 3in1 protection coming along? Also, is the protection wax (CL) or sealant (PL) based?
Just wondering if it should be topped with a carnauba or a sealant for prolonged durability.

Sure thing. Let us know how it works out with a traditional DA.

As for the durability of 3n1 by itself I can not comment as I applied 3n1 and then topped with PP Ultra. For the durability of the pair I must say that it is still going strong even through the cold nasty winter spell we just had with road salt aplenty.

For the protection properties on what it offers, I would say that it is of a Synthetic origin. For topping, either way will be fine. CL for looks and PL for durability.
