TINT SHOP EMPLOYEES
TOTAL CORVETTE Z06 C7.R EDITION
DURING JOYRIDE

"The Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition is a very special car.
It’s basically a road-legal Corvette race car. It packs
a 6.2-liter LT4 V8 good for 650 horsepower and comes
standard with features like Magnetic Ride Control and
Brembo carbon ceramic brakes.

It’s also rare, with only 500 available in America.
Unfortunately there’s one less C7.R Edition on
the road. This example was just purchased from
a Chevrolet dealership in Texas, with the buyer
requesting added window tint.

So, the dealership sent the car to a local tint shop
to get the job done. At the tint shop an employee
took the Vette for a ride and wrecked it. Luckily no
one was seriously injured but the car is totaled and
the person who bought it has to be incredibly pi$$ed".

Along with the "Do not wash" mirror hanger. I'm sure this guy didn't put a do not drive warning with the car..

Sad, if I had a car of this caliber it would not be going out of eye sight. And would not be getting tinted.

I hate litigious people, but in this case I'd make an exception.. That detailing shop would be finding me an exact replacement or compensating me monetarily for the loss of this rare car.

Why, would you need to drive a car that just got tinted. No reason. Joyriding and very unprofessional by the shop. I'm guessing the dealership that sent it out is shopping for a new Tint installer.

Most importantly I'm glad all are ok. Even the j*****s in the Z06.

I always want to follow the mechanic at the dealer when something has to be done. Probably not allowed for insurance reasons. I actually would stand next to the car if I could
