they are still not being sold anywhere on the USA mainland. PakShak was trying to get a group buy going.
Don't know if that ever came to fruition, or not.

•European online stores have reasonable shipping costs to the USA. Some google-ing will be required.

I bought one almost 10 years ago when they were first very popular.
It was ok but it was hard to get a pad perfectly centered on it for some reason.. Perhaps the backing plate was not perfectly round..

Its tall so it puts you and your machine a little farther from the work, and this is probably a good thing.

The foam is pretty firm and gives cushioning if this is what you want..

I found that there is some flex with it when you press down hard using it, and I usually dont want that. Instead I want as much direct drive motion so none is wasted when I correct..

Everybody and their brother later made a backing plate that was like it after awhile..

I found one here on ebay that looks pretty much like all of them and believe its around $67 shipped..
