Is there a dilution chart anywhere here on the forum that shows different products and their dilutions for different uses, including waterless and rinse less washes, QD, etc.?

There are a lot of products, such as optimum and Ultima, that are useful of multiple uses, so a chart would help organize such.

Is there a summary chart out there?

Thanks,

David

Should be on the bottle

True, but what's he's asking is a central list showing all the products with their dilution ratio. It would take a decent amount of time to look up 15 different lets say waterless products to see which can be diluted the most. Also if you do that and don't write stuff down you won't remember everything.

Someone should make a web site where you can select products from a list and compare them.

Got ya

The AGO product pages are a good resource:

Waterless car wash products, ecotouch waterless wash, griots waterless wash, optimum onr, automotive waterless car wash

AGO shows 18 different Waterless Wash Products currently

Not sure how far you could go with that as so much of the information available on detailing products is Marketing Hype

Add to that, the fact that many manufacturers withhold the chemical make-up of their products

Compounded by the fact that we rarely, if ever see any scientific data backing up the claims

The spreadsheet would realistically be limited to

-Price
-Sizes Available
-Suggested Dilution Rates
-Suggested Method of Application (Rotary, DA, Hand)
-Color

Some products always seem to be on sale, some never

Even the dilution rates can be suspect, because the manufacturer is trying to show his product is a better value, yet no one is using the product at the suggested application rate (a few drops per panel)

Many products are suggested for one method of application, but widely used in another way. For example; M101 is for use with foam pads on a rotary
