Help with MINI Cooper paintwork defect

Met with a customer to go over his vehicle, he pointed out these defects, I took so pictures to get some feedback before I start correction on the vehicle tomorrow. Can anyone give me an idea of what it is? I studied it and it's not a cluster of scratches, possibly where the MINI dealer detailer burned through the paint? I haven't really seen anything comparable. Any ideas on how to correct this defect, if it can be?

I tried to get the best picture I could at the time.

i'm still pretty new to paint correction, but i'd apply a little bit of polish by hand to see if it will clean up, or if you get paint transfer to your rag.
 
That looks like a haze spot most likely polish and or compound may help if not its probably human error from something leaning/begin on the paint when it was painted
 
I have seen this type of cloudy clear while trying to learn how to use a foam pad on a rotary

In my single experience, what happen was that the clear was not burned thru to the BC, but it had been overheated by keeping the rotary in too small of an area for too long

I waited 5-10 minutes for the area to cool and then was able to buff it right out

Hopefully, you are dealing with the same type of defect

Make sure you post the Afters
 
Maybe get a pic with light reflecting off it into the camera. Partially in the defect and part in good paint. And closer up.

haha, thank you. was going to post the same thing. maybe all other lights off with LED reflection too?
 
I would say this is more of a bad wet sanding job. When a rotary burns paint, it leaves more of a ring from the rotation. This looks like someone did something weird with wet sanding
