I planned on this, I was just trying to figure out what caused the issue, so I could eliminate it in the future.

I have been using All Clear detergent as recommended by another detailer. It does well cleaning the MF towels and is not harsh. I am still using some of my MF's from 2002 when I bought my first PC orbital. PC is long since gone, but the towels are still kicking.

pardon my silly question, but is "clear" a brand , or just the color of detergent you chose to use?

All is the brand, clear is the model/type/style. I think it is in the white bottle.
