When I got my 2015 silver Ram recently I clayed it and applied BF Wet Diamond Sealant. After hand washings I usually apply WD polymer quick detailer.

My question is this: Would I gain anything in protection or looks by applying the BD Midnight Sun Carnauba over the sealant? After all it is a truck and the silver pops pretty well with my current regime. I usually do the BFWD sealant twice a year. I also live half a mile on a dirt road so the dust does cling a bit to the silver but not sure there is anyway to avoid that.

From my experience:
Dust clings more to Waxes than Sealants.

Hence:
Less "pop".

Use Blackfire Spray Sealant every 3rd wash (washing once a week). You will retain the slickness/protection by doing this and an easier wash.

I too would stick with the Polymer Spray over applying the wax. When I apply MS it gets way more dusty, just sitting in the garage, than the PS.

Thanks for the comments. I would agree as the truck is garaged when not in use although a daily driver. Have had good luck with BFWD and the polymer spray after washing. Perhaps another coat of the BFWD sealant is a good idea in a couple of months rather than waiting 6 months - and then twice a year thereafter.

Using BFWD every six months is fine if your are using Backfire Spray Sealant. Be sure its Blackfire Spray Sealant and not their Spray Detailer which has no durability.
