Here is the issue. This is now two AMG Mercs that I have owned and done paint corrections on. Before the corrections looking at the car everything appears clean, shiny, and the TRIM blends right in with the paint, for the most part.
After the corrections the Black Paint is so black and stark looking that it makes the normally dull black rubber trim around the top of the doors and stand out really bad. The Trim on the pictures below is like new and its perfectly clean (as in original new color). You can see how much more it stands out on the second picture (the corrected vehicle pic) I am looking for ideas to maybe help with this issue and getting it to blend in more. I don't like the idea of using any type of dressing that wears off and can spread its residue on the paint. But.... Looking for ideas. Has anyone else every noticed this issue with their details????? Write up for the PC on this car is coming soon.
