Hard smooth plastic protectant

So my wife's CRV had black smooth plastic door handles & mirrors. I need something that isn't sticky since its a door handle. I tried the Ultima Trim guard plus, but it still left residue that transferred to hands when you open the door. Anyone have another suggestion?
 
I use Klasse AIO on all my external plastic trim, all of them are smooth.
 
I use Collinite 845 on my sisters 2011 Subaru Outbacks' exterior plastic trim. Wipe it on and buff off after a minute(wowo). It darkens and protects.
 
I treat any smooth plastic just like metal or the painted plastic front and rear bumper covers, using whatever wax or sealant I happen to be using at that time. IMO, any wax lasts longer than about any trim dressing I've used and looks just as good if not better. I've even tried it on textured trim. A few years ago I did the wiper area of my then beater Intrigue as a test. I scrubbed it well, rubbed in some 303, then came back a day later with Colli 476, wiping it off before it hazed. It stayed nice and black, beading water nearly forever.

Thanks ya'll. I tried Klasee AIO on the mirror covers with so-so results, it was oddly uneven looking. I tried a 2nd coat to even it with little luck.

303 is out since it left residue on the door handles (don't want to hear the wife again) even after dried and wiped. I like 303 on a lot of things including our boat vinyl.

Collinite might be worth a try, seems like dLux might be an option to explore. Does dLux leave any residue/greasy feeling behind?

Does the Wolfgang plastic sealant leave a residue?
 
That's odd. Been using Klasse AIO on plastic trim for years, never had that issue. Everything I use it on comes out great looking and well protected for months.

I hear ya, that is why I tried. I am wondering if it just the Honda plastic? These mirrors & handles have been such a PIA. Maybe I will clean them and try again.
 
I would use Dlux will last over 12+ months and very easy to apply.
 
Meguiar's Black dressing is one I'm loving.
I tried it on my RAV4 first to see the results before applying it on a customers car.
It dried to the touch, not too shiny,it left a clean, uniform look.
Not bad for OTC product.
 
My favorite OTC is TW Trim restorer.

DLux otherwise is my favorite, but alittle more difficult to apply.

Going to try Solution Finish once I get a break in the weather, hoping it will look/last as long as Dlux, then it will be cheaper and easier to apply.
