Like many manufacturers today Kia Optima car seats are part leather and part pleather (vinyl). After much research & searching Optima car forums there are varying opinions on which parts of the seats are leather vs vinyl.

My question, is it safe to use Lexol Leather Cleaner then apply Lexol Leather Conditioner to the entire seat given the fact I do not have a definitive answer to which parts are leather vs. vinyl?
(Will Lexol Leather Conditioner & Lexol Leather Conditioner run vinyl?)

As a comparison Pinnacle states their Pinnacle Leather & Vinyl Cleaner "while our emphasis was on leather this product works just as well on vinyl."

I look forward to your feedback.

With today's coated leather and vinyl you really don't need to condition when they are brand new. I keep conditioner on hand for people's seats that aren't in great shape. I'd go with an interior protectant after the leather cleaner, for now. 303 Aerospace, Blackfire Interior Protectant...something along those lines. If Lexol makes a protectant, go with that.

Some conditioners have protectant as well, which you will get the benefit of, but the conditioning part will go to waste.

Listen to this. Also research taking care of coated leather. There's no point in using conditioner at the beginning in my opinion.
What parts are leather? Generally IF you even have any leather the leather panels are middle panels of the seat (not side bolsters) steering wheel, and maybe shifter knob. Both vinyl and leather are coated with the same material which is why it's hard to tell the difference.
