The owner of this vehicle is a repeat client of ours. He picked up his Cayman and immediately gave us a call to determine the correct way to start his journey with this beautiful vehicle.
We agreed on a New Car Prep, which would include a light one step polish to remove any wash induced marring from the dealer and then top that off with Swissvax Concorso premium wax. We would then protect the inside using 1Z Einzett products for the leather and other interior surfaces to protect without altering the look. Matte is where it's at! A vehicle should look showroom new!

Onto the paint. When the vehicle arrived, we performed our extensive exterior cleansing process, starting with the wheels. We pre-treated the inside of the fenderwells and the tires with P21S Total Auto Wash, for a safe break down of road grime and any grease. The wheels were saturated with P21S Gel Wheel cleaner to pull break dust and dirt safely. Inner barrels were cleaned safely with boars hair brushes, taking extra time to get into the crevices of these wheels.

We actually went around twice on the wheels. The initial cleansing was enough to get the vast majority of the grime off, but we then took a pen light and made sure we got the remaining dirt and grime off the calipers and inside the small areas of the wheels.
We then pressure rinsed the whole vehicle to prepare for our foam pre-soak with Auto Finesse Avalanche snow foam which has a light safe citrus cleaner to loosen dirt and pull it away from the vehicle.

Onto the safe two-bucket hand wash.

Small details count the most:

Notice the other Porsche reflection in the hood?

The Rupes UHS system was used for the majority of the correction.

Swissvax Cleaner fluid. Application prior to hand application of the Swissvax Concorso

Swissvax Concorso applied by hand:

Thanks guys, this one was a seriously fun detail. When the owner picked it up, he was ecstatic. The car sounded wicked leaving the shop.

Beautiful car, and beautiful prep!, the way it should be done. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Kind Regards.

Nice Work and Products!

How easy would you say the paint was to correct 1-10?
1 being the easiest.

This paint was in great shape with minimal light marring, so on a scale from 1-10, I would say maybe a 2.5. Not bad at all.
