In recent years detailer's have been fortunate enough to have science really kick it in high gear and change the way we detail. With the changes we have seen many grins and many headaches, and hopefully more profit. So what is your favorite new product and why?

Well, not exactly "new", but more recent is microfiber pad options, and smat polishes.

Dual action random orbit machines as well. If they were as prevalent back in the day as they are now....

Well, I bought up a bunch of stuff, and I always keep coming back to Ultima wateress for washes, Fuzion for long lasting wax, and wolfgange Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant as a booster..

OHHH,,,,I forgot, sorry i got sidetracked. My Metro Vac n Blo. So much better than the already nice one I have at home. So worth the money.

I have quite a few favorites in the Carnauba/Polish/Sealant/Spray Wax/QD category so I could not tell you my favorite on that one.

If I am reading this post right...my favorite NEW product is my Flex PE-8 Kompakt with the 1", 2" and 3" BP and Pads. This is my 1st venture with a Rotary and so far I am extremely impressed with this little rotary.

Dlux or fg400

+1

Used FG400 on a 10 year old neglected Sequoia and it came out beautiful....from dull chalk to a bright deep finish...frankly I couldn't believe it.

DLux on wheels has kept them clean and easy to wash off.

I'm liking the trim sealants. I never found a protectant I really liked. Most would run on the paint after contact with water, or would fade after a week of sun. The fact I only need to treat the exterior rubber and plastic a couple times a year is a huge improvement.

For me its Sonax Cutmax, Ex 04-06, and the Fallout cleaner they have. I encourage everyone to give the product a go! I have been highly impressed with them all.

I acquired a sample of D115 and can honestly say that I was very sad when I ran out. Great product.

Yeah I was blown away how good it was. Just started using an 8:1 ratio and it seems to work just as good when 4:1

Tell us a bit about ex4/6 with a DA... It's certainly an item on wish list along with menzerna 3in1 (due this weekend possibly).

My pleasure!

The new Sonax EX 04-06 was designed to work specifically with the DA. The EX is a water based product that has an unbelievable work time and a Zero Dusting feature. I work on a lot of vehicles that are going to have PPF installed on them. Before testing EX I had to do a full wash of the vehicle to remove any and all dust from polishing and now with the EX I have elminated the washing step. Another great feature is you can get anywhere from 20-40 cars out of one bottle of EX. This is a product that the less you use the better off you are.

I have used many polishes and this one from Sonax is a home run IMO.

Sounds great and looks like a must have product for DA operators. A UK vendor had mentioned this can even take care of the german hard paints with an MF pad on DA and still finish with extreme gloss finish..
Which pad do you typically use it with to get a better cut from it while finishing with great gloss?

Definitely Ultima Waterless Wash +. Another one for me are spray on & rinse off sealants like CarPro Hydr02 & C.A.R Speed Seal. They have replaced wax for me. Save time, materials, add gloss, and last longer.

My pad selection will vary depending on the paint but if I need some cut I use the Sonax Lambskin wool pad. These pad never seem to get much attention but I love them and they are amazing with the 3401.
