Daylight Savings Time 2015 - Are YOU Ready?!

Frank,

I'm actually laughing out loud over here, because I thought the EXACT same thing when I made that post; how cool would it be to restore the paint/plastic on a riding lawnmower?

Must be an Autogeek thing because I've kept my mower looking pretty good. A friend came by one time and said "why don't you use your mower?", I told him I use it almost every week.

I did see some swirls in the paint. Maybe it's time to bring out the buffer :props:.

Hahaha! SNAP! :props:

I gave mine a wash the other night & thought the exact same thing . . . swirls! :buffing:

Good point Frank...:dblthumb2:

Mowing the yard is the only thing I don't like about summer. As you know, in Florida we have to cut the yard every 4-5 days (tops!) or it gets out of control. I think this year I'll scour Craigslist for a used riding mower. :)

Wow! Really Nick? That often?

Its summer time (actually, its now Autumn) for us & unless you're one of those persons who water the lawn twice a day - its all brown & crunchy, just how I like it.

Thursday night project - Nicks ride on mower!? Cool! Gotta be a Deere though Nick! :dblthumb2:

Aaryn NZ.

I am ready for longer days and warmer weather!! We have had a true winter here in the South, and I am not a fan! Love me some spring and summer

Oh great...now we get to see the snow an extra hour per day...😊

I'd just be happy for temps to reach 45 degrees :(

I hear you there!!

I saw the temps to reach 40 degrees today and got all excited. Been seeing some Robins skittering around the back yard lately, that tells me spring is just around the corner. I don't know if they have groundhog day anywhere else, but Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this year...Dang Varmint!!

Not getting my hopes up just yet but it sure will be nice to have another hour of daylight.

Crazy that it's already here, but love the extra daylight. :xyxthumbs::xyxthumbs:

It's tough to get a full day of mobile work in during the winter when it's getting dark by 4pm here in Seattle (seams even earlier when it's overcast).

Yep.

It is now 3:36am as I type this. All the clocks inside the house are reset. I'll do the cars later.

Now it's time to think about your smoke detector batteries. Replace them all on the same day every year. I;ll do mine in the morning. I used to do them on new years Day. But sometimes I would just "forget"
