I have a black 2015 Honda accord that I park outside, it rains a lot in the pacific northwest and am wondering what I should do to keep the paint looking good. I had a paint sealer called diamond kote applied to the car to keep the black paint from fading in the hot sun, I wash the car regularly and apply meguiars ultimate quik detailer about once a month after a wash and it keeps the car nice and shiny.I feel that I need a longer term solution like a wax or polish and don't know if I need to use a synthetic or carnuba wax or anything else and in what order I should be using them. I would like to stick to meguiars or mothers products as they are readily available here, also as far as wax goes I like to use a paste. Your help woul be gratly appreciated.

If your looking to keep the paint looking bright and new, then your on the tight track. Waxing and or sealant is very important. Meguiar's makes a nice Ultimate synthetic wax but I feel its a bit pricey at 20 dollars for 16oz bottle.

I used M Seal sealant on my 2011 mustang and then followed up with butter wet carnauba wax. I like liquid waxes better but that's just me.
