What would you call the best product for the money with using it for one step correction?

There are WAY too many good products to pick just one. You also have to consider the amount of correction that you want and how well you want the product to finish down ... will it need a milder polish to chase it down with?
depending on the paint hardness, if the paint is not soft, I would use FG400 or as stated before Uber compound, and then finish off with just a spray sealant. faster/better results that just a AIO.
Megs PRC is also an good option!

If you truly want an AIO, use D151. Great cut, finishes very well, and provides adequate protection.
If you're going to use that "all in one product" then polish with a "finishing compound" anyway, it sounds like you should just use a compound.
Any benefits you gain from using an AIO will be negated upon doing a second step since you won't be taking advantage of the protective benefits of the AIO because your second step will remove it.
If you truly want an AIO, use D151. Great cut, finishes very well, and provides adequate protection.
