OK so I've coated a few cars using the BLackfire Paint Coating and must say I love it more each time I use it.

This weekend I worked on a 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT.

Here's the steps I took to get these results.....

We first washed the wheels, tires and fender bays.
Next we washed the body of the car which wasn't bad at all but still decided to do a full two bucket wash.

Engine was next, only used my steamer and my DP Cleaning Gun to get it cleaned.

The rest of the steps...

Iron-X
Clay barred
Did another wash using the ONR
Using my Flex 3401 along with a 6.5 inch Meguiar's Microfiber Cuttng Disk using the Meguiar's Correction Compound
Followed up using the Flex again along with the Meguiar's Microfiber Finishing Disk using the m205
Prepped paint using Blackfire Paint Coating Prep Spray
Applied one coat of the Blackfire Crystal Paint Coating.

It gave me stunning results, jaw dropping looks, again. :dblthumb2:

Few pictures, all done.

Pictures don't justify how how the car really looks.

I would say it looks excellent.

But, the main selling point of a coating IMHO is looks, longevity/chemical resistance, and water behavior.

So, we have seen the BF coating has the looks dept down - what about the other two???

Blackfire was relatively late to the coatings game, so you knew once they did... it would be with a bang. It makes me wonder just what does Meguiars have up it's sleeve, once they jump in? I'm guessing...ultra big bang.

Kudos to blackfire on moving us closer and closer to coatings being the only protection worth considering.

Whaddya mean "once they jump in"...
Meguiar's already has one 'Coating': M188 :xyxthumbs:

I did a Camry, didn't take pictures.

Here's my personal car I did last week.

Also did a bike but only took a video and the lighting just didn't do much of showing off the coating.

The coating also feels very slick once cured.
Another reason I love the BF Coating. :dblthumb2:
