If you're going to use it as a waterless wash you should at least double that ratio (1 ounce per gallon).

As a clay lube, the standard dilution ratio works quite well."[unquote]

Am I the only one that is getting a chemical smell from my D114?

Yes it does have a cherry smell, but it sure isn't hiding the smell of some chemical. ONR, on the contrary, just smells like berry, to the point that I have no issue using it for interior wipedowns, I would not consider that with my D114.

Not sure but smell a faint (to me at least) chemical smell. It's not something that I would smell over and over but its not something I hold my breathe for.

Hope this helps.

•Strange...
I only sense that certain chemical smell when I've been
hitting the Cherry Brandy pretty hot and heavy. :D

•D114 does have a "cherry smell"...well, more specifically:
A "benzaldehyde smell"...(One of D114's ingredients)...
Kinda like burnt almonds.

-But...So does HCN (Hydrogen Cyanide).

•Let's hope the berries', and their unique smells that are used in both products, have gone through their specific Cyanide particulate traps.

Is it better than Optimum no rinse and shine?

Anyone tried both?

I've tried and still use all 3 for specific tasks:

ONR (as a RW), D114 (as a RW), UWW+ (as a WW).

Never used DG.

Compared to Iron-X, everything smells wonderful ;)
