There are leather products that use the term condition, enrich, moisturize and such. It's funny after all these years of leather car that we all still don't know what's what when it comes to leather.

....and no don't put d156 on your leather, good God. I prefer to use whatever keeps my leather matte, not shiny in any way as it looks cheesy to me. Tried Gliptone and just bought leatherique but haven't had the chance to use it as the process is way more intensive.

You guys just don't get Bob's humor or hus attention to detail. He's not putting people down. He's just stating facts as he knows them and helped people

I agree. My previous 2012 CC R-Line had leatherette... Which annoyed the heck out of me.. The missus who was driving around in the Tig SEL, had nice leather seating surfaces, and I kept reminding her that I was parking my butt on pleather every day!

I was pleasantly surprised that VW upped the ante on the 2015 Gti, with actual leather and a 'premium' audio, on the SE (which is what I have)

Seems manufacters are getting cheaper and cheaper on us. The Tig SEL which was 35k has the nice leather, but a very boring low powered 8 speaker system. Kinda annoys me.

Anyway going back to my OP. Does the Leather Master product actually help. Or am I just as well to use my x-press synthetic spray wax ?

Leather Master's Protection Cream is a water-based
protectant for all leather types including "protected"
and aniline...all leather types except for Nubuck---aka: Alcantara, Ecsaine, Microsuede, etc.---and Leather Master even has products specifically for those types of leathers.


Leather Master's:
They're what I use for all my leather needs.
Some will say: "They're exactly what the doctor ordered"!

I will say i really like the LM Protection Cream after a good cleaning. My leather feels and looks awesome after using that stuff. I'm sure you'd like it in the Tig. I have to think a leather product is what you want to use instead of a spray wax.
 
Thanks everyone, I'll give the LM product a try and see if it works out well.
