WeatherTech Mats: Inexpensive Insurance for Keeping Your Interior PRISTINE

I have an older set in my 2500 Ram, they took a set and dont set square, not that impressed

They're really great for some models on others they are absolute garbage. What I mean by that is that the lip for some models just isn't high enough to contain liquids especially in winter. I'd shop around for other brands, some of the worse cars I've seen with Weathertecs have been for the G37, Subaru WRX STi, RAV4 and the F150.

Frankly I'm surprised to hear this! Complaints on anything WeatherTech makes are few and far between. Did you try contacting WeatherTech?

Nice.

So now what the best option for protecting these without them becoming slippery?

I've always cleaned them with a mild APC and a brush. Like someone else said, WeatherTech also offers their own line of cleaners and protectants for the mats.

These were customer's cars. On some models they're great, my wife has an RDX and not a spot of salt on the carpets. However my F150 the salt runs off along the door side of my seat, horrible design.

I bought my mom and dad a set for their new Ram 1500 as I had them before in my Nissan Frontier. I run the Husky's in my truck just to try something different, would recommend either.

I also clean them with APC and a scrub brush, takes all of a couple minutes.

Really now? I've had 2 sets for two different F-150 (13, 14) both floor configurations and they fit perfectly. Next up I've had a '12 G37xs sedan and a '13 g37xs sport coupe and yes both with weathertech. No issues there - so sometimes these blanket statements aren't always accurate.

The fit isn't the problem. It's the height of the lips on some models. The G37 is coming too me in a two weeks time I will post up some photos to show. As for my F150, as long as the truck is perfectly level its fine however my driveway has a bit of angle on it and it just pours down the side as the lip just isnt high enough.

This isn't my truck however the mat is nearly identical to the one in my '13 F150 and it looks exactly like this during the winter. SilveradoSierra.com • Why i ABSOLUTELY HATE my Weather tech floor mats : Interior

I have had the weather tech mats in a 2013 outback for 2 years.. they did the job.. fit was pretty great , but they are slick when wet... Paper thin hard plastic feel and if you hit them wrong upon entering they can start to bend some.

Wanted to try something different for my wifes 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Bought the Husky Liner - X Act Contour.. more solid rubber feel.. Good heavy weight to them.. don't get real slick when wet... Perfect fit and excellent coverage.

would highly recommend them over the weather tech.

Just bought a 2015 BMW M4 and just ordered the M performance rubber Mats ( black and Grey combo) waiting to see what else comes out for the car as it is still relatively new but these Mats should work for now... def not putting weather techs in the car.. just doesn't flow well in my opinion.

Wish they made these for my BMW - E85 M. There are some models these matts are not available for. But, I agree with getting rid of carpets matts. I have the BMW rubber matts - but the don't have the up edges like Weather Tech.

I want some, but they don't make them for my new car, Honda HR-V. Neither does Husky. I hope they get them soon, I hate to use OEM mats! I have no idea how long it takes them to get mats going on newer vehicles, anyone know?

I checked my updated database and WeatherTech does offer the FRONT mats for the HR-V (black). If you want to order a set give me a call. 1-800-869-3011 ext 215

No cargo liner yet, but when they do become available (very soon, I'm sure) I'll ship it for free. :dblthumb2:

I will be giving you a call on Monday as you guys are out now, but I plan on getting the front mat set for the HR-V and a coating and some other stuff. I'd order now but I'll wait until I can get everything ordered at once to make it easy on us both lol. Talk to you Monday morning!

It's a newer model. Everything leaked underneath the seat. I'll see if I can find some pics.

Oh, okay. That is annoying. I tried to get custom fit mats on my last car but because of the way the seats were designed (there was a hump towards the front of the front seats) the mats stopped before that hump. This area was where everything dropped/spilled, so my mats were next to useless. Some cars just have funky interior designs, but you'd think that a company like weather tech, which specializes in custom-fit mats would make a mat that covers all the right places.

Have cargo mats in both Buicks and Cadillac. Love em''

Hey Nick,
I just ordered front and rear Weathertech's from ya'll. Can you get me the cargo cover as well? It's our loaner car,a 2003 Honda Civic EX 4 door.
