Hello,

I am open for recommendations for some user friendly wax. I use the Wolfgang Paint sealer so wax is optional but anyway :)

I tried the Pinnacle XMT 180 and found it quite hard to buff out with a microfiber towel. I am sure there are some more user friendly waxes out there. I really sweated a lot getting this buffed out by hand. Wolfgang paint sealer was a breeze againt it. Either its me doing something wrong or its just how the product is. It does shine awesome btw :)

Apparently the XMT180 uses polymers added to the carnauba so I am curious if waxes without added polymers would be easier to apply.

Opti-Seal.

Sealant, not a wax, but almost too easy to apply. And a little goes a LONG way.

Optimum Car Wax is also almost brainless too, as long as you stay out of the sun or the panel isn't hot.

Most of the time when a wax is hard to remove it's because too much was applied which is typical with hand application. Did you apply by hand? I like Mike P. always apply waxes and sealants with a machine, thin is in. Though I have not used XMT it's important to know if the is a wowo product or needs to cure for a little while prior to wiping off?

I second Optimum Car Wax (Brainless) lol.:props:

DP MaxWax. Comes off with a stern glance and has the looks of waxes waayyy more expensive than it.

Here's a couple to get you started:

•Finish Kare 1000P Hi-Temp Paste Wax
•Auto Finesse Illusion Show Car Wax
•Meguiars D301 Finishing Wax
•Pinnacle Signature Series II Carnauba Paste Wax
•P21S/S100 Carnauba Waxes
•3M Perfect-It Show Car Wax

just remember thin light coat ..often times the difficulty in removing wax is because it was applied to heavy.

As noted above Optimum Car Wax is extremely easy to use but it can streak and doesn't offer much in the way of a waxed look. Among paste waxes Lusso Oro and Blackfire Midnight Sun are the two easiest to use IME.

HD Poxy--a hybrid sealant/wax--5-10 drops for an entire vehicle and it is effortless to remove.

Not a wax. But seriously BFWD is the easiest product I have ever used.

We will see if the HD Poxy I just ordered changes that.

845 is super easy to use once you understand you need to heat it up first with hot water. It's pretty much the only wax I use now.

For sealant, Menzerna Power Lock is really easy to apply and remove and it offers excellent protection. It's my go to LSP now.

Letting it sit out in the sun on a warm day works just as well too.

Ditto on the 845. It lasts as long as any sealant and looks great. Put it on thin and it's a breeze to remove.

I just used Menz sealant wax for the first time this weekend and its awesome. Very easy to use and a little goes a long way.
