i had the opportunity to try out a new product. I was able to try out iGreenLover ECO Poly. I started with the new Blackfire Waterless Wash. This stuff is great. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try out a waterless wash. Then DP clay lube and nanoskin to get that paint smooth and ready for the next step. Here are some of the before pictures.

Next i compounded the paint with FG-400 followed by SF-4500. I was ready to get on with the coating. 1st step was the precoat. i was really surprised with how fine a mist and how much coverage it put out. It had no harsh smell and cleaned up the paint really good. Next was the coating, again no harsh smell to it. It almost had a mint smell to it. After reading the directions i started on the car. It was strange with the cure time, but i followed to a T. I started it out on the hood and after doing a 1/4 of it i had to change applicators and clothes cause the applicator that comes with it was to big for all the angles and curves. Once i switched applicators it was smooth sailing. I was able to get good even coverage throughout the entire car. I let the 1st coat cure over night, 1st thing the next morning i applied the 2nd coat and it went even better than the 1st. I did have a couple of high spots that i had to use eraser to clean up and apply the coating again, but they were not to bad.
Let me tell you the GLOSS was unbelievable. Fc Rillon you have a great product on your hands. I can tell you that my friend couldnt believe the end results. Pictures didnt do this car justice. I would highly recommend this to anybody i know. I am truly impressed, it was a little strange at 1st, but once i got the hang of it, it is very user friendly and not having that harsh chemical smell just makes it that much better.

Now for the afters, this is where it gets good

There are quite a few, but it being ECO friendly and none of the harsh chemical smell make it so much different from the others

The price of the Eco products is crazy too. $10 for the Poly & $15 for the Quartz (coating only).

Beautiful job! Love black paint ... on other peoples cars! :)

When black is done right, its the best color to have on a car
