6+ months later...Website finally "done"!! Thoughts?

I have a 6 and love it; it does take awesome HDR pictures. I very lightly clean them up and add my logo, but they're pretty much straight from the phone to the computer to the site. My wife wants the 6 too simply for the camera, it's that good.

Imagine if you used a real camera. They are so much better than ANY cellphone. :props:

Looks great. Why did you switch from Go Daddy as I am building mine on Go Daddy? Curious. Thanks.
Biggest thing was that my mobile site with them was constantly screwy and they spent months trying to figure it out and couldn't. Said I needed to restart everything with their new platform. I figured if I had to restart, why not shop around. I heard a ton of good stuff on Squarespace, took a 7-day sample and never looked back. Best decision I made in the business last year. Just my personal opinion though.

It's on the list, unfortunately other stuff keeps getting bumped ahead of it as higher priorities and the iPhone6 is more than serviceable for me for now.

GREAT looking website. Congrats! I think that website makes a great impression.

My only comment i would offer refers to the About page. Towards the end you talk about your goal being to offer the best possible service to your customers and then say you are getting closer to reaching that goal (something like that). My point is from the reader and potential customer perspective and i think you achieve that EVERY time on EVERY job. To me it just reads like you don't offer the best service every time but are getting "closer". I would say you ARE reaching that goal every time. I gather that what you are saying is something like you are improving daily but to me it sounds more like "i'm trying to do my best all the time".

I also like detailkitty's suggestion to simplify the graphics on your Contact page. I just personally want that as direct and distraction free as possible as a conduit to providing customer inquiries.

Again, just how i read it and i may be missing the point of what you are saying. If so, please disregard. That website looks absolutely superb and i applaud your hard work to develop it. Very impressive!

Like others have mentioned, the load time is a bit slow. Overall it looks great.

The only other feedback I have, and not sure it has been mentioned, is the picture of your rig when the site firsts loads. There is no right or wrong way of taking a picture necessarily, and framing it out, but in this instance, and with what you are doing, I think it would look better if your entire vehicle was shown, rather than having the top slightly cut off, and a decent amount of the tires and rim. And although small, it has some of your logo cut off, and I never think that is a good idea.

DetailKitty: yeah looking at that page again, I agree with you, the Porsche sticks out, and not in a good way :D Great advice, thank you!

You got it... I'm a graphic artist so sometimes I notice things others don't.

But overall great site, I really like the flow of it and how things are laid out. Very easy to read, etc. :dblthumb2:

Cool, thanks for that advice, that is really helpful. I'll take a closer look at that wording and see if I can make it sound a little more like what I am trying to portray there. Really appreciate the detailed advice :xyxthumbs:

Huh, interesting. No one had mentioned that, but I played with that image a decent amount. Any smaller version (picture taken further away) and the logo starts too small and not very readable - I get what you're saying, but with it being an image that stretches across the top of the page, it limits the options. The size of the picture there is already set by the template as well (all pages have that same size picture at the top) so that limits it too. On a plus, you can see the whole car on the mobile site! :D
