I wish I had pics, but Violet (pictured) met a chihuahua back in July.

She rolled over on her back and let the little guy sniff her and even tolerated a little nip to her nose.

Without proper training, it would have been a “one chomp and gone” scenario.

It does seem to be the un-desexed males they both take issue with, but that was in Sydney, we haven't had any issues since moving north. Staffies don't seem to be that popular here. In Sydney there were a lot, unfortunately more than half the dogs at the shelters are either Staffies, or Staffies cross, they're a bit of an image dog, as you said, it's the owners that are the problem, not the dogs. There is a big dog we see on our walks, he has a good yard, but I've never seen him on a walk, he's never socialised, and when he barks at us, they yell at him. He only barks a couple of times, I say hello to him when he stops, just to annoy them.

Yup. Clueless humans expecting animals to respond to their weak/non-existant understanding of how things work outside of their Amazon ordering world.

Bath time today.

The naughty boy plucked a box of bread flour off the shelf in the pantry while the household was occupied elsewhere. When I found him, he had managed to cover the himself and rug in 1kg of flour. JOY! :wowwow: wish I had taken a photo as I was actually very funny.

So he really did need a bath today!

These two are inseparable companions, the younger one is proving to be a digger. Not good for the garden I'm trying to maintain, but her cuteness means she is forgiven quickly.
