Show us your pet.

I truly thank all of you for your support during this tough time. I find myself breaking down with the little things. I open the pantry door to feed our other girl "Addy" and I see Sadie's food there. I come home and expect to see her laying on the couch in her favorite spot and it's empty.

I'm sure as time passes it will get better, but I can guarantee I'll be thinking of her every day. We don't have any kids, these are our kids.

Sorry to say the kids thing doesn’t come into play, they’re simply family. We have kids but when we lost Tigger after 19+ years, I was in pain and crying over the next few weeks. Only time seems to help and the pain turns to memories with a hole in the heart. We haven’t got another dog because I don’t want another dog, I want another Tigger. And that won’t happen because he was too special. We decided another dog is too much responsibility right now but who knows what the future holds. Now we go over to my parents house and love on their Australian Shepherd named Bear.

Ooooo, what's in here...................

Not me, I'm hiding under here.

Extra bracing for Buster's dog house today. His favourite game at the moment is to annoy his sister till she starts chasing him around the yard, then run at full speed into his dog house to hide. The base is designed to lift out easily for cleaning, but they started to fall out the bottom every time he crashed into it. Job done, but I'm not sure he likes it.

Tried walking the dogs tonight, started raining, so we're hiding at the park. Night time, so they have their navigation lights on.

Congrats but me thinks you watch too much TV. The fact that I know who you named them after makes me think I watch too much TV as well. :)

This is my English Bulldog / Pitbull mix , Joey. He is patiently waiting for a walk lol

Little close but her super thick coat was getting knotted, the amount of brushing required makes keeping our cars clean a walk in the park!

On tonight's walk, second time this week. Tiny little snake on the path. While it is getting cooler, we had the sun out a fair bit today, and the path retains some heat after the sun goes down. Even small ones like this can be deadly, if they're the wrong kind, and I wasn't getting close enough to find out what kind it was.

My wife says she is never going to Australia due to the number of deadly snakes and spiders. Such a shame.

I've been looking for a snake in our yard. My girlfriend has seen it twice. The first time she saw it she was spraying weed killer around the box the garden hose is kept in so she sprayed the snake and ran away. I've checked there a few times and I've only found a slug. Only 2 venomous snakes around here and they're pretty recognizable.

I don't know if this helps or not, but apparently you're more likely to die from an accident with a horse than all the bitey, stingy things combined. These figures are from 10 years ago.View attachment 75287

Addy has been doing better than we thought after losing her big sister about 3 weeks ago.

I still have times when I just break down. They say as time passes on it gets better. But she took a piece of my heart with her.

Here's Addy napping this afternoon.
