Finally got a box been enough and she wouldn't get in

On tonight's walk, second time this week. Tiny little snake on the path. While it is getting cooler, we had the sun out a fair bit today, and the path retains some heat after the sun goes down. Even small ones like this can be deadly, if they're the wrong kind, and I wasn't getting close enough to find out what kind it was.

That was what I thought, I posted the pic on our neighbourhood FB page, someone said it's a Marsh Snake. I don't care, I'm not going any closer, and I'm not going to ask it. We also get Red Bellies, but they don't even move as you walk past.

Fortunately the dangerous ones around here are fairly easy to identify. You guys should really put rattles on their tails. Makes things easier. Only one venomous snake around here that doesn't have a rattle.

Actually quite the opposite. The American Pit Bull Terrier was the most popular family dog in the country from about 1900 through the 1930’s.
It’s only when pieces of human garbage train them to be people-aggressive (not in their nature) that they get an undeserved bad reputation.

Nah I know hence the winking eye. Funny one dog goes crazy and attacks their family and the breeds banned.
Humans do it at a lot bigger rate but it’s just the individual.
The are just the breed that can inflict most damage to us so humans fear them.
I’m guessing there are more bites from chihuahua in the World…
