They're big in news and current affairs, but produce a lot of other content, they make some really good shows, helps to keep the local content up.

I was over at a friend's house last weekend. They get so many toys from Barkbox that they sent me home with one. Penny and Gus fought over it but Penny eventually claimed it as she does with everything.

Supposed to be tougher toys for hard chewers

They usually send one tough rubber toy that’s kind of a Kong knockoff and a hard plastic toy and treats

Donna told them this month to skip the hard plastic toy so they sent all plush toys

Poor things didn’t stand a chance

It was a massacre

I go to the op-shop (thrift shop/charity shop) and buy second hand stuffed animals ect, only $2 or so, they don't last long, but he likes them.

We went through the gate onto the base yesterday and the Airman that was doing security checks looked at Kaeleigh and said “aw, what a nice OLD dog”

We've had the same thing with Ziva since she was about 2 years old, because most of her grey markings are around her nose, people think she's older, Buster just has his grey markings in a lot more places.

A pickup pulled into the parking space 2 over on base and the guy went in the hospital and left 2 Heelers in the car

When anyone got within 20 feet of the car they both went full nuclear

Kaleigh was seriously like WTH is going on over there

She would look at them and look at me and look at them

Here's a pic from yesterday, ready to go to the park, my nephew Mason's 4th birthday party just happened to be there, so they got to say hello to everyone, then walk a lap of the park.

They don't bark at anyone when they're in the car. They will bark at big dogs though when we're walking, especially Ziva, she's very reactive to big dogs, Great Danes, Wolfhounds, Greyhounds, basically anything with legs taller than she is. And sometimes those dogs do look confused, like, I wasn't doing anything, what's going on. It is embarrassing.

What's embarrassing is Kaeleigh thinks if you pull up to ANYTHING and roll the window down and talk to someone, then they are supposed to dispense treats

That works fine at the coffee stand and a few other places but the people at the gate of the base with all the guns apparently didn't get the memo

My Mum was going through some old photos, the real hold in your hand kind, when she found some of Brownie, the family dog from back in the early 1950s. They don't know what mix he was, just a regular brown dog. These were taken at the same house we lived in till we moved in early 2020. She asked me to tidy them up so she could post them on FB, the last pic is to show what I had to start with.

The fence guys are done and Kaeleigh has a yard to play in

Since she was never allowed off leash before she is a bit confused by her new freedom

She still demands to go out the garage door on her leash for bathroom breaks and doesn't want to be in the yard without me
