Getting hammered with a snowstorm as I type. Started about 10AM. Heaviest totals will be thru 6PM. Totals will be 5-7". First storm of the year.
 
started snowing here too. our forecast is ~2-3" by tomorrow morning.

That's what buying a new $1200 snowblower in 2018 gets you.....:dunno::laughing:
 
Started getting blowing and snow a few hours ago. News says we could have 10cm down by tomorrow. They are also saying Tuesday night into Wednesday morning we could get up to 20-25cm with what is on track. Hoping we don't get that. I do not enjoy winters at all. If we have to have it, bring on the cold and forget the snow.

I've been eyeing up one of those 'lectric (battery) ones...do you think if I spring for it we won't get any more snow here??

Currently 28C, but we should get to 31 this afternoon. Feels a little cooler, there's a nice breeze. UV is at 12 - extreme so suncream, hats and sunnies if you go outside.

33°F and snow today. Goes into 40s this week but rain every day so irrelevant.

My dad was 1 of 5 siblings raised in Beaver Falls Pennsylvania. Actually 3 doors down from Joe Namath. He was the only one that moved to the west coast. I have visited for months at a time back east and it's such a different world growing up in the west coast! The major difference isn't the weather as much as the the people! So down to earth and real!

I think I'd trade the weather for the people, seems to me you are a little up the coast from the most temperate city in the US, San Diego...well, La Jolla, anyway--not sure if the SD city limits extend east into the desert.
