what's everyone's weather currently like where you are at?

though summer (not looking forward to it :( ) hasn't officially started until this sunday, it already feels like it! hot!!!
 
I am near the beach in West Los Angeles

A little fog/low clouds in the morning. 2 to 3 mph breeze off the ocean. A high of 72 and a beautiful, clear night with a low of 66.

But no one could go anywhere all day long.

Obama was in town and lots of streets were closed. It wouldn't be so damn annoying if it was real important government business. But he was here on a begging mission, shaking down rich Hollywood democrats for cash.

Slightly cooler than the highs listed in the Cali weather on the first post, with higher lows, plus lots of humidity. It's going to be really hot next week as well. I washed my car yesterday at 6:30am to avoid the heat. :xyxthumbs:
 
Decatur Indiana. It's been raining off and on for two weeks, When it's not raining the humidity is unbearable . many are sandbagging around the river area, many roads are under water. this is our third highest flood on record.

Louisville KY area, been raining most of the week. Flash flood warnings. Way too humid, when not raining.

At 9:00 last nigt it was 84 deg. in pensacola. Forecast - Crazy hot with even crazier humidity.
 
Right now (7:30CDT)...raining pigs and chickens with a SUPER light show!

Will be in the lower 80's with lotza humidity (humility) later, plus those damn'd mosquitoes! Tis summer in the mid-west.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME OF WHICH MAY PRODUCE:

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL.
FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.
WIND GUSTS OVER 60 MPH.
QUARTER SIZED HAIL.

AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED NORTH OF A WAUKEGAN TO LA SALLE LINE EARLY THIS EVENING. THE STORMS WILL THEN SHIFT SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80 LATE THIS EVENING. THE MAJORITY OF STORMS LIKELY WILL REMAIN WEST OF THE CHICAGO METRO.

DISCUSSION:

A COLD FRONT WILL SINK SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE REGION THIS EVENING. INSTABILITY AND WIND SHEAR WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE WEATHER...BUT A STOUT CAP WILL LIMIT STORM FORMATION.
THEREFORE THE FORCING ALONG THE COLD FRONT SHOULD BE THE ONLY SUFFICIENT SOURCE OF LIFT TO FORCE STORMS. MOISTURE WILL ALSO BE HIGH SO TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS ARE EXPECTED. GIVEN THE RECENT HEAVY RAINFALL...FLASH FLOODING IS POSSIBLE ALONG WITH RISES ON LOCAL RIVERS AND STREAMS. THE MAIN SEVERE WEATHER THREATS WILL BE LARGE HAIL AND ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND.

MAJOR FLOODING CONTINUES ON PORTIONS OF THE KANKAKEE AND IROQUOIS RIVERS IN NORTHWEST INDIANA...AND MODERATE FLOODING
CONTINUES ON THE ILLINOIS RIVER NEAR LA SALLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

THERE ARE PERIODIC THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ACROSS THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY.

Dang, I don't know how you guys handle that humidity, it'd drive me crazy.

Been mid 80's all week here in Central Oregon with little to no humidity - cools down to the 50s at night too. First summer here since moving from Seattle and I'm loving it so far. It's actually been three months today since our move and I think it's rained 5 days total, and not very much on those days.

It is supposed to get to triple digits by next weekend though, so that will be abnormal for me.

95 here in Tampa today, but we'll never see 60's at night that's for sure. It'll be in the 80's still at midnight and tropical Florida humidity.
