Thanks for the help!
Just had them pull it and pack it, shipping out right now!

Thank you Meghan
Just call AG customer service.
It was wonderful experience.
The staff are nice, voices are sweet and everything went smooth :)
Thank you for sharing that, we do have a great crew here.

Got my tracking info and all...is 7 business days from order to arrival pretty typical? I'm not really complaining, just a little surprised. It's my first time ordering from AG. I love the selection, customer reviews, prices and forum. I'm just used to ordering things online and receiving them within a few days.

Depends on where you live and UPS shipping times. I've ordered things from the west coast and it can that long to get to Florida.

AutoGeek should think about switching to FedEx. Just looked at both UPS and FedEx Ground shipping times and FedEx averages a day sooner than UPS.

Decided to try a little test. Just ordered a $5 bottle of Megs Quik Interior Detailer with free shipping from a random seller on a well known e-commerce auction site. (Meant to order add it to my AG order so I could compare it to the DP Interior Cleaner sample I added). AutoGeek has a two day head start. Let's see which one gets here first...

You could move to Florida, shipping time for UPS are just fine here. My order shipped today and I'll have it tomorrow. I have had it take 5 working days for FedEx to get here from upstate NY too. I personally don't think one is better than the other.

Maybe it's because I've got bigger fish to fry...But:
I never worry about the quickness of AGO's, or any
other vendor's for that matter, shipping orders out.

To put it into perspective, in the time it will take to receive my order I could drive from Denver to AG's warehouse in Florida, pick up my order spend 3 days in Disney World with the family and drive back to Denver...and that's assuming driving at the speed limit and only driving for about 8 hours a day.

Transit time for each carrier is dependent on the area.

We actually utilize FedEx for other divisions of our company, including our Amazon store, Autopia-CarCare.com and BlackfireWax.com.

If you prefer FedEx, just leave a note in the comments box when you place your order and we'll ship it FedEx.

If you're in dire need of a product in a hurry, we also offer expedited shipping services (3 day, 2nd day, next day).

I prefer FedEx over UPS. Suggestion!! AG change order form to offer UPS, USPS & FedEX as an options, instead of using the comment section or addl calls to AG. staff.

FYI. I tracked one UPS order. It took 1-day from Stuart, FL to UPS drop. 200 miles, before it actually began journey.

I also prefer FedEx or USPS over UPS, not so much for the shipping speed, but for delivery time. Brown doesn't usually deliver to my house until after 6pm and only weekdays, while FedEx and USPS usually delivers around noon and on Saturdays too!!! I often times end up picking up my packages from the UPS store (drive right by everyday) instead of waiting for them to be delivered.

And look what came to my door today.

while no business/company is perfect (in all aspects including customer service), AG will certainly do what they can if a problem arises and take care of their customers as best as they can...

FYI, that's not my AG order. That was a bottle I ordered from somebody else 2 business days after I ordered from AG. It was ordered Tuesday night and was delivered on Friday. I placed my order with AG on Sunday morning...It's late on Monday night and I'm still waiting on it.

My AG order was a significantly larger order. It is being delivered in two separate boxes.

if there is ever a problem in the future, go straight to the source and call them directly and they will sort it out... :xyxthumbs:

And finally:

I will give AG credit that everything was packaged nicely. Would've taken a big drop by UPS to damage the contents.
