wow bob, love the caucasian shepherd - never seen one before. Amazing. I have a female long haired german shepherd - goes around 50 lbs and is very protective of the family. Fortunately she's very well trained and extremely obienant.

Yes I am. In fact my name, Connor, literally means: Dog or wolf lover.

Yes they are...
Love to have one, but they need a lot of
roaming territory---something I'm now in
short supply of.

Your Shepherd is gorgeous!

Thanks Bob, she's a keeper for sure. I had never seen a "coat" before my buddy told me to come over and see his new pup. He was the only long haired male in the litter and my jaw literally dropped. So of course he tells me there's one long haired female left and I should go over to "take a look." hahaha, u know the rest of the story.

They are special dogs imo. Yes they take a lot of work and discipline but the rewards exceed what most have come to expect from their dogs. I feel privileged to have her in my life.

View attachment 37113 something kind of positive i suppose. My boy on the right on a show banner for finals

Wow, those are some GORGEOUS pit bulls. A breed that gets a bad rap because of some horrible owners. Their nickname is the "nanny dog" because kids love them and they will fiercely protect their family members. Man those are some good looking pups!! Your big boy is really handsome.

Thanks! Theyre actually "American Bullies" which are basically pits but been mixed with bordeau mastif and English bull dogs. Not very well known but around for about 30 yrs or so. Ukc just started recognizing them as a true breed over a yr or so ago. Truly mis understood breeds. My dogs behave better than labs. Theyll walk past cats or try to make friends and same with other animals. If a dog acts aggressive they ignore them and wont look their way or try to greet them especially my male. Hes most loving loyal dog. Even inlaws cat that hates the dogs he grew up with doesnt mind him cause he just walks by and wont pester him lol.

Very interesting and you're right, hadn't heard of American Bullies. But one universal truth about dogs, they reflect their owner's disposition. Like you, I won't tolerate bad behavior and my pup knows that. She's well mannered and disciplined because it's what I expect. "There are no bad dogs, just bad owners."

So true, you will get what you put into them. Its unfortunate that people dont see that! To many times ill be walking my dog and ppl pick their children up, others hug them and want pictures. I get offended although i understand cause the way they look and media. Once a gentleman grabbed his daughter up, so i picked him up (not easy being hes 100lbs) and acted like the kid might hurt him. I had ppl rolling laughing at that!
